My Sidewinder Ruled The Lake!

Well OK, so all the BIG boats are probably put away but for one weekend I ruled the lake. It's good to be king! We had 80 deg. plus weather this week and a LOT of boats were out.
I was just putting in when a low profile outboard started comin around and shadowed me for quite awhile. I just putted around warmin up the mill and makin sure everything was working. He left and didn't see him for quite awhile.
We buzzed around and showed off the roost for awhile and then stopped. Da wife crawled out front and took a nap. This dude in the OB comes screamin by real close. Woke DA WIFE!!!! NOT GOOD!!!

She was kinda cranky and said
"Honey would you go spank the weedwacker so I can finish my nap?"
What could I say!
I dropped her on the dock and thought I would settle this. Then went to SEEDAMAN!

I spanked the dude bad and never saw him again. Even showed off a little on the way back to the dock. Is this some crazy roost or what?

Later I had to give the same treatment to a big IO. It's good to be king.
After buzzin around we came across some friends of ours who invited us aboard for brats and beer.

They told us they had witnessed the events of the day and we all had a good laugh.
I let da wife drive awhile and I got some cool pics. I thought this one was cool.

Even if this day never comes again I can say that one day I was the fastest thing on the lake.

Nice to see other Sidewinders live and breathe out there. Mine is an 18 Super Jet which lives on a lake in Central Florida. Am interested in hearing how other Sidewinders have survived the years. Also, as I have just fully restored my Sidewinder, I have successfully located many hard to find parts, including a replacement windshield.

sleek 74 hotrod. Yea I got the holley problem worked out. Went to the parts store and plunked down the cash for a new one. Bling Bling = best cure for problems.

Anyone who who hasn't decided if I need help or if I'm cool need to check out my new tow rig. This baby's BADASS!
I had it in the tow rig section but since it's hooked to my jet I reckon it can go here too. The truck cost me 5 bucks. It's three blocks to the ramp from the house so it works jus fiiiine! I was informed that the value of the truck is now measured by how much gas I put in it. It's worth $9.50 now. Whose tow rig has
appreciated in value since you bought it. It looks great with my beat up boat.
