The 496 is machined and balanced, but currently unassembled so that it can be painted to the buyer's choice. It is a tall deck block that was magged, align bored, bored and honed to .060", with a new forged steel 4.250" crank, new H beam rods, new SRP flat top pistons, JE rings, Clevite H bearings. It was balanced with a flexplate and GM damper. I will sell assembled for $3000, or $2800 if you want to put it together yourself. I don't think I can duplicate it at that price again, my machinist upped his prices a bunch.
