Haven't been around Austin much, though there are several nice lakes to choose from in the surrounding area. Travis being the main one that comes to mind. I've run on Somerville some, which is Bryan/College Station area & up on the Brazos River above Waco, which was really nice.
Check around in the Central section, there is some good info there, boating wise.:cool:

I was thinking of doing the strap thing to the axl and limp it back to a friends. The back tire went flat and I switched them to strap up the front because of less weight on it. My buddy brought me a tire from his trailer to get me to his house, then off the get a replacement.

TOO BUSY WITH THE 5TH SEASON(TAX SEASON)
HAVE BEEN DOING LITTLE THINGS TO IT AT NIGHT. HAD FENDERS RECHROMED. TRAILER TO BE SAND BLASTED AND PAINTED NEXT MONTH.
IT HAS AN APPOINTMENT WITH ABSOLUTE SPEED AND MARINE IN HAVASU REAL SOON. SHOULD SEE SOME MAJOR CHANGES.
