I just looked at the pump on ebay. The description says "variable pitch impellar" ???? I've never heard of such a thing. Does somebody make one?

You're kidding right? You can't tell me that this isn't the same boat as posted in the stolen thread. Same hull, same colors (even the seats are the same). 396 bought it in Phoenix, and it was stolen here. Those are pretty preculiar colors to begin with and the odds of two boats being painted with em???? and the same highlight between the colors????? And the seats being the same color and striped the same? Both have bow lights? Same steering wheel? I'm sorry, but something aint adding up here.

That is for sure the same boat.I wonder what the storie will be in the end.
Some one got Focked theres no doubt.More was stolen than just the hull.
I just hope the original guy had insurance and was not intrested in getting it back but something tells me its just not that way.
There was a thread awhile back when some saw what we thought was this boat in the back ground of a pic of a light blue and white Stealth but it was the guys new one he had built to replace the one that was stolen.

Hopefully they can trace back and find the scum sucking low life dirtbag POS chicken shiot loser that stole it and attach a set of batery cables to his cajones and hook them to an MSD...for starters.

soooo, what about insurance. Was there some? Maybe the insurance company let it go? So what happened in the meantime we don't know? I would think it is a legit buy ( at auction) , So guy that bought it sure isn't the bad guy here. Best of luck...sounds like you gotta lot of boat to live up to. Good luck and hqve fun

I always use a kryptonite cable lock from the trailer to the truck to avoid this stuff. Since I heard about this I also lock the wheels through the leaf springs, Deters thieves from stealing the trailer with the boat and from stealing the rims. I am trying to get into an enclosed soon because they can always unbolt everything from the boat and I am screwed that way. I cover mine at night to take away a little of the temptation too. I hope this all works out for both. 396 seems like a stand up guy.

You better make sure it's not one of the older ones that can be opened with a bic pen. The newer Kryptonite NYC Approved lock and chain is the one to get.

Damm Jetdriver I'm impressed with this one.
There was something about this post when first came up that caught my attention and well I guess I never forgot. Then the other day I see pictures and it just clicked. I would really like something good to come of this for all parties involved, I guess the best thing would be the original owners get there boat back. I know that 396 is a real stand up guy, Im sure something great will work out for him.

State Farm won't insure anything older than a 1977 (at least when I checked with em). It's also easier to insure a boat without over transom headers.

I filled out their form being completely honest about open headers, horsepower, maximum speed, etc. We'll see what comes back. I selected the lower coverage of the two they offer.
I've seen where some guys get insured by giving erroneous information about the above. My concerns were always that the insurance company would find out the truth about speed, horsepower etc. and refuse to cover in the event of an accident. If this would be the case, then the insurance would be a waste of money.

Did you happen to mention nitrous? :D :D :D Either way, let me consult the tea leaves....ok, here's what will come back: Insurance denied.

Negative Jer. I did consider listing my horsepower w/nitrous as opposed to without, but in the end I left it out completely.

No doubt! Either that or so expensive King Tut couldn't afford it.
