I was thinking of having my logs powder coated(They are too pitted to polish). I was wondering if anyone has done this and how it has turned out please post pics if possible.

it is possible , just make sure that they pre heat them to get all the casting gases out of them or other wise they will have pock marks all over them. and also make sure they use a high temp powder coating due to the fact the at the flange they are going to get pretty damn hot! good luck

My logs were used when I bought them. I had to have the flanges decked and did some sandin and polishin, WARM UP THE ELBOW!
I happen to like the polished aluminum look.

Ya don't see polished MT's everyday either. I got too much time on my hands.

Definately check on the high temp thing. Mine were supposed to be high temp but the flanges still browned after 10 hours of use. This was a stock motor. I'd say stick to polish only unless you can see some that have been used for many hours without the discoloration.

Standard powder coating won't last, it's good to around 400 degrees, JetHot is your answer and you can get a chrome looking finish or black or gunmetal, http://www.jet-hot.com/
it'll last for years,

I had ceramic coating done on my alum intake and it came out almost as shiny as chrome. It looks great. Email me if you want pictures and I can give you the name of the guy that did it for me. Low maint. also.

If powdercoating will not work does anybody know anyone who does jet hot? I would like to polish them but the pits wont go away.

Take a look at this picture. The intake is ceramic coated and is really shinny.

I would also recomend ceramic coating, its really durable, looks great (IMO). Jet-Hot is one of the best in the business, below is a link. You might ask about discounts for www.camaroz28.com members (a free forum). BTW, Jet-Hot is also very nice company to do business with, I dealt with Steve who was very pleasant and helpfull.
