502/502 Not sure of top speed yet, hoping for high 50's or low 60's.

Going down to Park Moabi this weekend, get out of this smoke and ash. Can't wait to see how she runs!

Nothin beats the day you get to pick up your boat. Mine was being built the same time yours was, BTW yours looks great! My buddy is picking up his 24 (yellow to orange fade) this Fri/Sat he can't wait!
Must say I will miss all of the trips to see my boat in production, theres just something about the smell of resin!

Nice boat. Hopefully the jet doesn't have the same problem falling off the delta pad as the i/o I was in did. It's a nice boat once you get past the work required to stay on the pad. Loved the workmanship. Hopefully it was a one boat situation and they all don't act like the one I was in. :D

That's just because Jason doesn't know how to handle his boat.

I know that they use a different bottom when a jet drive is spec'd.
As for outdrive 21 Lavey's, I've driven 3 of them. A closed bow, a crawl through open bow, and a walk through open bow. In my experience, they all handled great with no problem staying on the pad. All three of them had similar engines, all big blocks and bravo-1 drives.

Well lets see, there were 12 people, a large full cooler, unbalanced fuel tanks, a dog, and who knows what else on board my 21'er. PLUS, it was at night and we didn't go faster than just enough to stay on plain.....so yeah, it didn't want to stay on the pad, infact, it didn't want to stay on plain at the speeds we were going, and everytime I bumped the throttle up to straighten it out and keep it on plain someone (by that I mean a certain person) would complain that we were going too fast at night....
I found a solution to my problem though, and it's not trim tabs. I just don't let pussy's and winers on my boat anymore, I let them find their own way to RoadRunner.
BTW Jordy, your welcome for the ride to the bar http://op6c.com/forums/html/emoticons/munky.gif .
ANYWAY, Great boat secondchance, I'm sure you'll be very happy with it!!!! We'll have to have another mini-Lavey regatta in Perris this winter!!!

Took it out to Park Moabi last weekend, put about 6 hrs on the motor. Temp was high 60's low 70's. Had three good size guys in the boat along with 40 gal of gas and an ice chest, maybe a 1000lbs total. I opened it up. Tach showed 5200 and speedo showed 60. :) :) :) :)
