Who else has a slide in around here? Let's see a pic. We have an older '89 Vacationeer 990.
The outside is tired but the interior is great. I don't worry about scratching it. We put in new cushions and curtains.

as long as your having fun, I have looked at few recently for the new truck. Problem is we have a 34' RV, how to reduce down to 8-9'.
We may sell the RV and get a camper and toy hauler:) to maintain some kind of space

My boss has a lance that i borrow on occasion to go on vacation with the boat and it is great he has the 8.5 model so it doesnt habg off the back but the slide out really makes some room as far as waking around and eating is concerned. We have a 20 month old and we can put up his small crib when we go to bed.

I had a 2000 Lance Model 1130 with the generator. That was a awesome rig and we have a family of five. When my Crew Cab Dually 4x4 turned out to be a lemon we opted to get a Class A motorhome instead of the truck and camper dealio. We mostly go to the river and not the desert. For the price of a new Truck and Camper(~60K) you can have a killer Class A gas rig. We bought a used National RV Surfside with a Banks system for under 50K. Twice the room and less payments, what a concept.
Only problem is the off road situation...not happening with a motorhome.:(

We love it! It’s pretty basic but it works just fine for us. :)

miller that looks just like my bosses that i borrow on occasion in the inside except his has the slide out where the table is so i think the only diffeferene might be is that there is a foot more of room near the table. The layout looks identical though.

Nope no slide out on it. Just your plane jane camper.
77 if your boss’s (is that spelled right?) has a slide out chances are that it has bigger holding tanks than mine. That is my only complaint is that the tanks fill up pretty quick. But if we use the outside shower that helps a lot.
It is pretty clean and I plan on keeping it that way. We went to go buy a new one because our old lance had roof problems and I was sick of it. Well when we got to the lot my wife spotted this one used (always looking for the bargain). We saved a considerable amount because it’s a few years old. But you can hardly tell it’s not like they change a whole lot. Anyway we have been real happy with it.

Miller, what are they 30gal. each tank?
That is another reason we may keep the RV around. So need to do our homework:eek:

I helped a friend mount a new Honda Outboard on his Bassboat recently.
He has the Lance slideout and says it's excellent.
It even has a quiet built in generator, and an awning.
I checked it out,, nice .

I don't have any interior pictures, but here is the rig last month out at Fisher's Landing area on the lower Colorado River.
Now we are towing the Jeep out to Borrego for winter-time fun. :D
