Well thanks for the link. My family has a shop in Birmingham, So I come through your area on bussiness trips quite often. I also go to the IHBA races in Gadsden just about every year. Do You go? Where do you boat in your area? Tim

I mostly boat the Coosa river, 1 mile from home, and I like Lake Guntersville on the Tennessee river,(45 minutes away) we always go to the drags here you were about 5 miles from me when you were at the drags, that was the Coosa river, but I like all sorts of boating so Nov. 10-16 we are going to Orange Beach Alabama for the APBA offshore championships to work at the races as a Medic boat, (EMT&divers on board) because I have a jet it's a great boat for emergencies with people in the water, should be fun, if nobody actually needs me even more fun, lots of parties too, did you get the picture of the red Daimler I sent you ?

Thos are pretty cool cars when restored. If I remember correctly they have a small quasi - Hemi V8 in them? Had a wicked exhaust note! Good luck with the resto!

The offshore races are awsome, I worked on the Banker Racing boat back in '96 when they set the speed record for their class. Next time I'm in your area I'll let you know, maybe buy you a beer. Have a great time at the race!.......... No, I haven't gotten the pic. yet. Tim

Tim,
I had a Daimler about 25 years ago. Man am I old!, anyway it was a great car.
The babes loved it and it ran and sounded awesome.
I miss that car.
Also had a TVR Vixen. Another fun car to own. Between those two cars I had to get liscenses in three states. I kept losing them due to speeding tickets.
Thankfully California didn't have reciprocity with NY, NJ, and FL when I moved here!:D :
