Looking for a v-drive hull that would fit more than 2 people but isn't a daycruiser. Something that seats 4 but still has a hole shot. Maybe a 19 foot something or other.
Anybody know of something like this out there for sale?

Thats the main reason I got mine. 19' and seats 4 comfortable. I know of a 19' sanger for sale but its pricey and only has 2 seats in it now.

They don't look like the back to back - do you have any pictures showing the interior - How about that sanger, how much, and do you know if it's still available.

I think you would be happy with the style boat like mine.

You can fit 3 VERY comfortable in the front, you can put 2 in the back, but a little scary when you start reaching high speeds. It is 17'10"

Thats about as close as I have for interior shots of it together. I posted links instead of pictures because the files are large.
The Sanger is still for sale as far as I know. He wanted 12k ready to go.

Just for info. I drove it back in May at the Berryessa Bash and it hauls. The other thing is the guy that normally ran it is tall and I had to reach for the pedals. So if you're 6' or less the seat could be moved forward about 6" to be comfortable.

Bill, I don't kow why you have ruled out a cruiser. I've seen many cruisers that will whip ass on any boat you've built to date.
You've now got perfect engine for a cruiser.
A 19', 20 or 21' Schiada, Howard or something like that v bottom would be just right if you ask me.

I know of a 21 foot mandella step deck looks like a cruiser but with a Mandella "flat" bottom. Excellent shape set up for Ford FE motor and tranny seats four forward in bucket seats. If you have any interest I can get you some fotos.

Bill, I did not mean it that way. Just that I see you going through lots of boats and it seems that you are still looking fot the right one.
With that DNE power you have you could do 100mph cruiser that will run in the rough stuff and your wife will even like it.

1989 Deaver-DiMarco 21' V-Drive Daycruiser. Very nice boat of this era, with all original interior and gel coat. Powered by fresh 461ci Chevy, w/ Turbo 400 trans, 10 degree Casale V-Drive, steel Menkens 3 blade 12 x 14. Simply turn the key in this rig and go for $9500. Serious prospective new owners may call for further details.

I agree with Dave here proppa. I think it would be the perfect boat to have that big HP engine you have sitting there in a nice V-Drive Cruiser like the ones above, you can put 4-6 people in them VERY comfortable, have a smooth ride in the rough waters and go 100+. Problem solved. :)
There was a guy up north selling a cruiser that needed a little love, it was pretty cheap.

quit screwin' around and stick that motor where it belongs-in a jet boat. a nice 21' Daytona would haul butt and carry the mail with your engine. :D

Big Proppa, what you need is something like this:
http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/520/540Pat-med.jpg
You can see some of the back seat in this pic:

19' and seats four comfortably, with room left over for a cooler and still has a decent holeshot. This one however is not for sale, just posting to give you some ideas on seating.

Man I thought for sure you were going to post a bayliner - thats a nice boat though I wonder what he would take less motor -

Boatmike

Hey, I actually had a Bayliner LOL! I went and talked to the dude and at the time I know he would have taken $10,000.00 complete. This boat is really trick all the stuff he used is top quality it even has a oil cooler that is really trick looking. The boat seemed to be a real good buy as far as i was concerned.
