In the summertime, we don't need another hour of sunlight :D

Pick one time and stick with it! AZ has this one right! If we started because of World war II, why didn't we stop when it ended?

Daylight Saving Time - for the U.S. and its territories - is not observed in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, the Eastern Time Zone portion of the State of Indiana, and by most of Arizona (with the exception of the Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona).
We are not alone in weirdness!

I thought it had to do with the farmers. Can anyone please tell us why we change the clocks. :D

Us rednecks in AZ have a hard enough time telling time. You go and change all the clocks on us and we'd be in a world of hurt!

I think Arizona is the ones who have it right. Gettin dark at 5 pm sucks. I wish California did not change the clocks too.

I forgot I posted this last night and never checked the replies. My bad.
I agree that it is way easier than messing with the clocks. We're a lot further ahead of Indiana, only half of their state changes the clocks:confused:

Time change screwed up one of my T-Times in Az....thought I had plenty of time for Breakfast but ended up an hour late....oopppsss. Guy working the desk said, "must be from Cali, happens all da time"...I'll get you on the T in a few minutes.
I'd rather have one time for all and leave it be..

Certain parts of Indiana do not change the clock either.
Grandparents lived there, allways had to remember 2 hours diff in summer, 3 hours in the winter.
Does anyone remeber the energy crisis in the early 70's
The president had us all go on daylight savings time in the winter, I recall going to school in the dark, It would not even get light till around 8:30- 9:00am during that time.

I remember it. I loved it. I could care less if it's still dark in the am and I hate it when it gets dark so soon after work. Of course, for us in So Cal it was light well before 8-9am. More like 7:30-8am.
