go with the victor jr. or the ford svo manifold. i run a tunnel ram and if i was going to do it again it would be the victor jr. or the svo manifold. just my .02;)

Hack job, I was thinking a single plane may work best on that
big motor. May test with Stealth and V jr.

The 429/460 big block Ford, by virtue of its intake port design, loves tunnel rams. If you are looking for max horsepower and top speed, the two 4bbl tunnel ram is the way to go.
If not, then a single 4bbl manifold will suffice. Keep in mind, however, that one of the idiosyncracies of Fords is that they like a LOT of carburetion. Due to your stroker displacement, a Holley 850 would be the absolute smallest you could go--and other well respected Ford enthusiasts on this forum will disagree with me, stating that even the 850 is too small for your application. And to some extent, I must agree with them. Hell, an 850 works well on a stock 460! In addition, my Ford 466 has two 660's on it and are set up to flow about 1350 cfm and while the motor works perfectly, I know it could take two 750's.
I am building a 533 stroker and it will have two 850's on top of its tunnel ram, if that's any indication of the type of fuel delivery your motor can handle.

I know fords love lots of carb. More so in boats than cars but
cube for cube fords want more than say a chevy of same cubes.

Waterslinger, if you want the ultimate sleeper, go with Hack Job or 77Charger Go with through-Transom exhaust though to make it real. Otherwise, you should listen to LakesOnly with lots of carburation. I have a 466 BBF--9.5:1 with some ported D0VE iron heads and I have a 2 x 4 Offy tunnel ram running 2 x 6109 Holleys (750 CFM x 2). I have the jets squared at 85's @ about 36 deg timing advance and the plugs look beautiful. So, not too much fuel as you can see. I had a 4780 (800 cfm dp Holley) on my stock 7.8:1 460 Ford and it still ran fine.
So, the question is which intake to use. It's up to you but you will absolutely get lots more performance with a tunnel ram and lots of carburation.
One more thing. I put the 800 dp on my stocker, replacing a 650 and got 400 rpm's immediately.

Nice ride, waterslinger,
My 533 is going into an '82 Fox Body Mustang.
I will have questions about my many options of conversion kits.

'slinger,
I live next to LMCO in Sunnyvale, CA. My whole family worked there: Dad (staff engineer), Mom (Program Plans Analyst), Bro (Material Sciences/space shuttle tiles, etc.), Sis (can't recall what...).
I turned the (2) job offers down; didn't want to live off the "missle money." Instead, I worked at Ford Aerospace for awhile (now Space Systems Loral) building spacecraft, then the whole Silicon Valley semiconductor manufacturing insanity.
I'm out of high tech and just cruisin' now...flexible schedule, boats, motorcycles, fisting hot chicks, etc.

Lakes only, Good call LMCO is like a PIMP but we only get a 20/80
split. Hell most pimps give a 30% to the ho's.

I'll cast another vote for the Victor. I plan to do a Victor/1050 Dom on the next boat myself.

What did you do for the bottom half of the wheel well, it looks like you just cut the top of it from the body line up.

waterslinger

just cut and shape or cut out the full lip.
