I'll check some of my old Powerboats tonight but I think they still made them until about 1980.

Mine is a 1980, but that could have been the registration year, it does have 80 as the last 2 digets of the serial number. Are you looking for one???

We tried to get Sanger Jack to build another one with the squared off deck and he still had the molds and that was in 1986.

I forget that you were at Sanger during those hay days.
What is your opinion of the 19' Bubble Deck Runner Bottom for a go fast lake boat? I NO IT AN'T NO BEISER. But I still would value your 2 cents.

It was slight v-bottom and usually had a back to back bench seat.Is this the one your talking about?????

was it a 18'-10'' that sanger called an 19'?
or am I mistaking and they only built the 17'-10'' that they called an 18'?
Billy, what is your option of the bubble deck, either the runner bottom of slight v?
please let me know.

msmeads1, Billy is correct, the 19' boat was never in production as a runner bottom but it is a bubbledeck. The 17'10" was also not a runner bottom and was not a bubbledeck. The only production bubbledeck runner bottoms were the 18'6" drag runner and the 18'3" circle runner. (Now that I've said that Sanger is known to have a few one-offs out and about also) Although like Brodie:rolleyes: I have a special fondness for Sanger flats they tend to look better than they go. I have spent a lot of time ,effort and $$ to get my boat to handle and take a set. It is a bit tougher to drive hard than a well set up Cole TR2, Hondo 511, or Canyon. They will generally take a quicker set and be more stable at speed. The Sangers can be tuned to work real well but usually with a bit more effort. IMHO though no flat looks better than a long deck, bubbledeck Sanger.
