I grew up at OCIR until they closed it down. My Dad would take me there and race. I would go back to school the next day and tell the teachers and other students and get sent to time out for lying. My mom went down to the school to straighten them out. I still pass by that part of the freeway on the 405 and see the trees and it still brings back a smile.

I worked there till they shut it down, I was there for the last drag race when the jet cars set the little tower between the bleach boxes on fire.
