From the NHRA.com site for this weekends World Finals at Pomona.
"Driving Larry Morgan's back-up car, Pro Stock legend Bob Glidden posted the quickest and fastest pass of his decorated career when he tripped the timers in 6.855 at 202.20 mph. Prior to Thursday, the 10-time champ and 11-time NHRA Finals winner had never posted a pass in the six-second or the 200-mph range. Glidden is currently outside the field in the No. 17 position."
Good to see him make a decent run after walking away earlier this year because he thought he was unable to pilot these cars anymore. A little tuning and maybe we'll see him in the field this weekend!
