Has anyone ever heard of an Eliminator BB240. I recently bought it in an Insurance auction. Hull damage. hit a submerged log. It's a cuddy, 454 bravo 1. Same 5 color gelcoat design, anodized billet hardware, ect. as other Eliminators of its age, even has the radar wing, but I have never seen this particular model. Seems like a cool boat. Eliminator was listed as a Wisconsin Boat Manufacture on a website I visited recently. I don't remeber the web address. Any Info. would be appreciated.

it's a legit Eliminator.
They had a model with the Radar Arch and all, but I remember it being more around 23'. A buddy of mine had a friend that did one up very nicely. They pulled the arch and cut it for a cuddy/open bow. The boat turned out real nice except for the guy was a little bummed when his supposedly fast 454/Bravo got spanked by our P.O.S. 429 powered 18' Eliminator Bubbledeck beater jetboat. :D
It was a nice boat, but definitely had some 80's styling going on.

BB240 is not a model from Eliminator California, could have been built in Wisconsin. Check the hull number, should be in the upper right rear corner of the transom. All Eliminator's built in California start with ELB, those built in Wisconsin start with ELI. The next letter/number for California built boats is the model.

Gas Pains,
Assuming you bought the boat in Minn., theres a good chance that it is an Eliminator that was built in WI. Eliminator used to have a production facility in Shawano, and in the early '90s it became Obsession Boats. Dont know the affiliation between the California Eliminator and the Wisconsin one.
