The boat I'm working on has a WJ in it. I plan to install my place diverter from my Berk in it. Looks like the nozzle is actually part of the pump housing not the "stearing nozzle". Also there's a plug that bolts on the back that looks like its only purpose is to reduce the area of the nozzle some more. Do you normally cut the nozzle off the pump and use the diverter for your nozzle or what?
Also does anyone have a used adaptor that goes between the WJ and a place diverter. Figured someone might have one left over from an Energizer kit install.
Thanks

The nozzle needs to be cut off. Not sure what you mean by the adapter-the berknozzles should bolt right on to the energizer bowl. I had mine converted at MPD.

Thanks for the reply
I plan to use my stock housing and bowl. My understanging is the PDC's diverter for a WJ is the same as a 12JC plus a 4 bolt streering housing (adaptor) that goes between the bowl and the diverter. Must be someone out there that had a diverter on their stock WJ then switched to an Energizer kit.
I have a garage full of left over parts from upgrade made to my race car. Must be a few seasoned jetters out there with the same problem.

There is an early (non-sealed) and later (sealed) version of the Place for WJ's. The early version just uses the 4 bolt stock piece with a little trimming to clear the bigger steering bracket. I haven't seen the sealed piece up close yet, but it's the berkely style from what I hear. Which one do you have?

Defininitly not a bolt on deal, but here is what I did with mine. I cut the WJ bowl down to accept a ring, made a ring, and welded it on, drilled a berk bolt pattern in it so I could use berk add ons, like a droop and wedges.
