ok as we all know when we motor up we need to start trying new props my question is. there are more lh props at a cheap price that rh. can i simply put a lh on put the boat in reverse to be foward with out messing up my outdrive to save some money in prop testing i was told that the bravo lower will run in either direction without damage to the bearings thanks for any help

Your boat will not handle the same with two LH or two RH props. Your boat is set up for counter rotation.

single motor, no merc dealers within 600 miles that partispates in the prop swap program. help

I could be wrong here as my experince is with Volvo outdrives (don't laugh), but there should be a way to easily switch the direction your shaft spins. With the Volvo's, all you had to do was pull a plate on the face of the outdrive, switch from one side to the other the shift linkage piece and waa laa, you could now spin the opposite way. Anyone know if Mercruiser has this attribute?
