i think it will be less strain on your driveline and any speed shop can do it that is the one i am going with on my truck as soon as my warranty runs out

What year are you looking for. Were finishing up our 98-03 package and the 04 package right now. Both have massive air to water intercoolers and reflashed factory computers.
Thanks,
Dustin

Dustin, I have a '01 SuperCrew 4X4 with the 5.4 and 3.55 gears which struggles pulling a 7,000 boat and trailer up steep hills. Would this be a good application for your supercharger? Or, would it generate too much heat from operating in boost mode most of the time? Would the tranny need to be upgraded to handle the extra power? Thanks, R/R

RR= When I went down to see Dustin and pick up my quad I was able to see what he was making for the Ford's. Looked really clean and from the way he explained it to me sounds like it was really user friendly.
If I were to keep my F150 I would definatley consider this option.

MB & Robbie racer, will certainly let you know, could use your for one of the first "install" articles and will give ya a smoking price. This setup is sweet, it uses the Lighting manifold and intercooler which is HUGE. This is the blower from the Ford GT motor. We reflash the factory ECU which gives us full control of all the functions (factory software/hardware). Should be really close in 60 days. Guaranteed it will be hands down better than anyother available for the 5.4L 2V. No problems with heat. We can get away with 10psi on 91 octane but keep it at 7-8. To give you an example of the testing we have to pass, 50 hours WOT at peak torque, no breaks. Then, 50hrs at WOT, peak HP. What other SC mfg does that? It's also driven from ca to tahoe, through nevada, to Havasu and through the proving grounds for much more testing, then across country to MI through hot and cold weather. As close as you can get to OEM.
Thanks,
Dustin

I put a Vortech on my wife's 5.0. VERY simple install took about a day and a half. Part of that time was running to the parts store for the"brother in law" tools I needed. Huge response difference.
