For those of you out there that have fica scores above 700 expect to be looking at rates from 6.375% on loan amounts above 100,000. On loans from 25,000 to 49,999 the rate is 7.75% and 6.50% for loans 50,000 to 99,999
If your fica score is less than 650 dont be suprise to see rates at 10 to 12%
This is the second rate increase we have had since November.
Good luck and keep your score up if looking at a new or used purchase.

Last november my wife and I bought a used motorhome from La Mesa RV for about 42k. We had 5k down and got a 15 year 5% rate through them.
He said they had 'coupons' that they could use from their lenders to pay points with. According to the negotiator, they like to save them for the big ticket rigs, but they were about to expire since we closed the deal on a Sunday night.
I think our score was over 700, but I don't remember. They kept saying that it was good and that was why they could work with us.

We just funded our loan for the new boat, $100,000 was the approved amount and the rate for the 15 year loan is 6.5%. I love our Credit Union.

Our credit union is the San Diego Firefighters Federal Credit Union and the rate is the best we could find anywhere. The guys at Howard even said they couln't do better than that with their financing lenders. Our loan was approved for 100K but we did not borrow that much.
