Anybody have photos of Tom's Hallett running at Ming? I missed the races and his boat seems to be all anyone is talking about. I rode in it at the river last summer and was very impressed. Inspired me to put more motor and pump to mine this winter. Anyway I tried clicking on the link hackjob posted below but there is some complications with the sight that wont allow the pics to come up. If anyone has some they could post here that would be great. Thanks in advance!

No photos but that was a treat to watch. Classic sleeper for sure. On the trailers you would have never guessed that he was gonna spank that blown gas flat like he did.

WHAAATTTT??????
Bandy Spanked a BGF? We're talking about the yellow and rootbeer hallet with the single carb right? The boat is fast for sure, but somethin had to be up? NJBA has him down with an ET of 10.555, not quite BGF country. Either way, the boat is still one hell of a piece. And it looks like the air and whatever changes he's made(probably had the launch controller working) were good for a noticble increase in speed since the last time I saw him run.
Travis, You'll be bettering his displacement by something like 25ci and sporting the tunnel ram. You're gonna have to step it up bud ;) It'd be nice to see 2 of those 19'ers runnin hard this year at the river.
Here's some pics of Bandy's ride at the CBBB

I saw that boat run and it is a sleeper for sure i wonder how many guys who thought they were fast have been beat by him ?i saw it pull constant 10.50s at 94-96mph.The air was very goood this weekend also. But it would still do 90+ in bad air

that's ken simond's blown flat, not the flat that tom beat (even though tom got out on ken on that run, ken went around him). tom beat randy molina's blown flat in the 10.50 final.
the difference between tom's september performance and his november performance was partially due to the air, but a lot due to additional work on the pump.
it's pretty cool sittin next to him on the rope; when he starts the thing, you can't hear it running (thru-hull). that boat really leaves the rope in a hurry.

I was surprised how well it ran. You don't often see boats with through transoms going down the track and then running that well to boot.
But by far, my favorite ride was the olds flatty running in River Racer... now that's something you don't see every day.
and btw... not to take away from the fact that he did run well... the air was really good up there... about 650 feet corrected altitude... as opposed to April where it ranges from 1900 feet in the morning to about 3500 in the afternoon.

It's a 489 (454 .30 over stroked), AFR Alum Heads, not sure what size. Mech. Roller, blueprinted Wilson intake, HP950 Holley... I don't know the rest of the internals. Anyways, it made 696hp at the Dyno on pump gas (91 octane)
