If only it were 1967. I'd have the world record beat by 1.36 mph. I'd also probably be the youngest to attempt the record at 10 years old.

Yeah, now think about what's gonna happen when he coughs the engine, loses power and that deep nose drop into the water. Hang on, cause you're going for a ride!

I love the Hondo add with Ray's Panic Mouse (double "0" seven was the man). I wish I could order up one of those Hondo's for $1200. today, maybe I'd splurge and pop for the wood decker. This is cool stuff! That "T for two" boat is wild, you gotta wonder where boats like that are today.

It looks alot like mine .
arround 60(not GPS) mph so far in mine . that was with a semi stock 350 berk 12J-B. Ive done alot to it since but havent had it out yet .
I may work on it through the winter before testing it again.
So you think it'll get a little squirrley if it coughs at 80 :p

Do you have any other old photo's of Schiada's?
I am in the midst of a resto and want to give boat an original look.
Mid 70's type.. the hull is yellow and pretty much faded with a blue strip along the bond line.

Thanks! :)
Any other photo's???
I would greatly appreciate it... My hull design is more in line with the photo on the previous page in the B&W photo...
While were on the subject I am open to recomendations for hull restoration in Orange County - anyone know of a good source.
I am currently thinking of B&K in Bellflower a bit far, but seen their work and worth the drive.

Sal at Orange county boat repair is very good. Stop by and talk to him and you might see a new boat or two there. There are some of the builders that still send their stuff to him to touch up before delivery.
7148271612.
I don't know if they still use sal, but Hallett would send their stuff to him for repairs and boo boos that needed to be fixed.
On the other hand, you'll never find anyone finer than Kenny at BK. Simply put, he's second to none.
