Somethings starting to come on slow and strong...never in my life had a flu shot...haven't had a cold in longer than I can remember.
Maybe a few (shots) of "The Weed" will kill it:rolleyes:

If you would have been waterskiing all summer you wouldnt get a cold. Or hepatitis A. You would have been immnuized.
Now that you got it do this:
Get some codiene cough syrup (make sure you not allergic to codiene)
Get some weed (any alcolol will do)
Get some tomato juice
Do it
Get some sleep
Done
Works for me. Dont know why.

I've got something trying to work its way into my system for the last few days. It can't make up its mind if it wants to let me sneeze 100 times an hours, let be breathe through one nostril at a time, or its holding back for a "Laid up on the couch, can't move a muscle, honey get me this and that Thanksgiving". I'll treat it with beer and see where it goes. :D I still have a bottle of weed here...wonder where THAT came from. It hasn't been pinched since.;)

It's like a really bad cold at this point. Now Beverly's got it too.
Sorry to hear that you guys are sick. I Heard on the news last nite that it has reached epidemic proportions in our area.
Listen guys, if you get or already have this thing, don't try to fight it. (thats how I ended up with pnumonia.. continued to try to work and be THE MAN) Just accept it, go to bed, get lots of rest, and drink plenty of fluids. Has anyone tried that nasal spray that is supposed to lessen the severity and duration of the flu? I think I'm going to go get some for Beverly to try.
We hope that all of you that are down with this get well soon.

I just had an interesting conversation with our pharmacist about Beverly having the flu.
It turns out that the nose spray I was referring to is simular to getting the injected vaccine- to be taken before getting sick.
Also found out that if you go to the doctor within the first 48hrs of getting sick there are prescription medicines available to shorten the duration and lesson the severity of the illness.
After 48hrs there is nothing to be done but ride it out.
( Dammit I told her to let me take her to the doctor yesterday!):mad:

have had a killer headache for a week now feels like something comming on . sure is a Buzz kill .
just my luck I was just bragging the other day that I havent had the flu or a cold in over 2 years , Guess I'm due .
Yes I wandered over here :p now I'll go back my sanbar home and leave ya alone .
