I thought it was a great boat also. I like Lavey's, & how they vacuum bab the hulls! Maybe one day I will own one?

I had a chance to drive the Poker Run Edition boat at the Lavey regatta. That boat was bad ass!! Very quick and responsive to the drivers requests. If ya love driving boats, this is for you!! That thing was so clean on the rigging and all the custom features. The cabin was totally RACE designed. I wish I took some pictures to show it off. Hopefully it'll be at the LA show.

What's the actual in-the-water length of that boat? And what's something like that cost?

the tip to the back of the swim step is 28'6.dont know current pricing but would guess with balsa core and 525 110k.

How does the 2750 handle the rough Havasu water? What about skiing/wakeboarding/tubing behind it? Is it available only as a step-hull?

the boat is awesome for wakeboarding and tubing.the vee is very steep so it flops over and turns perfect for tubing.i whip the kids over and over with out really veering from my course(hard to explain).never tried pulling a skier but i dont see it being a problem is you dont mind a bigger wake.the boat kicks ass in the ocean in offshore so i dont see a problem with havasu lake chop.

HD, the 2750 is the new Team LaveyCraft race boat, and it has been doing excellent in Factory 1 class offshore racing.. What does that tell ya about handling the rough water?:)
There is no other boat in around that size that can out handle a Lavey..see yaaaaaaaa

I seriously want one of these this spring. I plan on putting a Teague 800 in it to bring me close to the buck mark on the GPS. I've heard some nasty stuff about it's handling at speeds of 80+ though. If you have one, any info would be greatly appreciated. If the bvoat is not gonna be stable at high speeds, I'm not gonna waste my money on a Teague 800. In fact, I'll probably look elsewhere, like maybe a Howard 28 Bullet.

one of the early boats had this problem. something about the streaks at the bottom. lavey took care of the problem. i only see 72 mph gps on my boat, but i know a couple that runs high 80's with no problem. these guys run to catalina balls out all the time.

i've had the great pleasure, thanx to nick! and got a ride to catalina in his 2750. and ohhhhhh myyyyy godddddd. i would'nt buy anything els if i were gonna buy a brand new boat. the handling in rough waters were better than in glass water. believe me..... i know it sounds funky. but its true that boat is alive in rough/glass waters.
good luck.
see ya soon nick
