looking for velocity stack new or used like most super stock boats run w/ external stud's and mounting plate. not the kind w/wing nut in the center!or point me in the right direction!

never seen one like that. Both mine have the wingnut in the middle.

Easy now. :p There are two types that the SS guys that still run velocity stacks use. One stack has a base plate and you use long studs to put the carb on and the studs run through the base plate and hold the stack on with nuts. Bergeron Engineering in AZ sells those. The other type is machined and tapped and you have to drill the top of the carb in order to run tiny alan bolts into the velocity stack, if that makes sense. :confused: John Avery at Engine Dynamics in California sells that type. Both methods prevent you from having to run anything inside of the stack that will cut down on HP.

Nuts will always be intact but its easy to be as fast as you when your shit goes up in smoke!:D
