TAMPA, FL--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 23, 2006 -- Today Beyond Bulbs, Inc.
(www.BeyondBulbs.com) announces availability of the HID PowerLight(TM) Personal SearchLight(TM), a super bright personal lighting product. The super bright Personal SearchLight delivers five times the lumen output or brightness of traditional filament lamps in spots, searchlights and flashlights. Designed for military, homeland security, border patrol, search and rescue, and maritime interdiction, the concentrated power of the HID PowerLight redefines the term 'flashlight' and ushers in a new class of portable personal lighting called "HID strategic lighting.

very cool. Acro Lighting has an HID flashlight but it is bulky and costly (~$450). this looks like a quality product and would work great for havasu when there is no moon. Great accessory for those Rhino night rides too.

If they make them from sponge rubber, the LA Pd will buy them

Night Rider makes them that clip on top of a helmet and some nice ones that clip on handle bars. Fockers are really bright too. Much brighter then my old skool lights and the battery life is much better to boot.
325 for a flashlight? I donno about that one.

Can we shine them into the cockpits of low flying aircraft for a positive ID in the name of homeland security?
