 I resently bought a 26' hawaiian offshore on ebay for real cheap. The problems are the two foot crack in the fist lifting step, salt water in the chevy 350, and a volvo 280 outdrive. I have the motor running now but??? Is the boat worth fixing or just alot of parts? I would like to be able to cruise around 40 and top at least 50 mph. am I crazy? help!!!!! Show us some pictures, I looked at 26' Hawaiian daycruisers but have not seen the offshore boat, sounds like a good winter project,

I know he's got some big stuff in the works, but the 2' crack could be a day or two project for him, and a cheap, quality fix for you....he does great work (he did my boat/see avitar)

Jerk all that iron out, glass over the holes and bolt a Yamaha 250 to the back, you'll get a sweet reliable ride!
