STUPID QUESTION HERE:
Not that I can afford the setup but have been curious. We are required to run flame arrestors here. Is there something about that setup that gets you away from the flame arrestor requirement?

K&N makes nice breathers for it. Could pass them off as flame arrestors.

I just talked to Jim Enderle. A brand new Birdcatcher, pump and fuel shut off valve set up for gas and flowed / ready to bolt on your blower costs 1,657.00

I belive it would fall under the same classification as a velocity stack. You don't have to run a flame arrestor in a velocity stack because it is piped up and away from the watercraft and the passengers, or something to that effect. :D

Laws must be different where you are. LE gave me one of them certificates worth 150.00 for running velocity stacks with no flame arrestors on them. Bet they would have a cow for sure if they saw eight of them horns sticking up in the air on top of the engine.

They must be. I ran mine around for 3 years with a velocity stack with no flame arrestor and never had an issue. I know it's been brought up here before and I even looked it up in the boating deal that Az Game and Fish hand out and it was right there in black and white.
Although 8 little flame arrestors would be kind of cool. :D

Georgia laws require a USCG approved flame arrestor on each Carburaetor. I guess this gets you off the hook with injectors?

78's setup was reworked by Kinsler. Everything looked good when I saw it last year. Can do alcohol or gas. Fact I think I got a ballpark tuneup for either.
