As reported on NBC nightly news: 60 to 70 thousand will die from influenza (the flu) this year, because they failed to get a flu shot.
You guys take your families and get a flu shot tommorow.
Beverly and I are for sure.
As sick as that last bout made me I would do anything to avoid some variance of it!

Im not sure the Flu shot is a good thing. I have heard those talk radio shows that say its worse getting the shot. Who knows.....:rolleyes:

Damn, You guys take care of yourselves, The flu is bad in our area(Stuarts Draft,VA), and as Manic said it is some bad shit. Drink Plenty of fluids(Beer), Take lots of medicine(Beer) and take plenty of cough medicine(Beer). Hammer, make sure you get that taken care of so it does not get worse.

Sorry to here it got ya...trust me I feel your pain.
On a scale of 1-10 I do feel a few clicks better... this happened before, then some other symptom kicked in.
Ear infection is still hanging tough...I'm on some pretty strong antibiotics.
Oh yea...and it's frigging Snowing :(

Damn Mike, sorry to hear the bug finally got you.
That headache behind the eyes sux. After it finally went away I could'nt focus my eyes for a few days.
Take good care of yourself buddy, We would hate to hear that you ended up getting worse.

Thanks guys...problem is today was the last day for them...but the Ear is still pretty bad.

What antibiotic did they have you taking?
The one they had me taking was effective for about ten days after I took the last dose.

Zithromax (azithromycin)...5 day dose...2 dose start up.
Only side effect was some stomach pains.

Zithromax is one of the antibiotics that continues to work after the last dose.
(Beverly is a nurse, lucky me!)
