It looks pretty good.
Claims 85 mph with 8psi of boost.
For once, a realistic claim!
Not so sure about this claim though...........
IF YOU RAISED THE BOOST AND ADDED RACING FUEL YOU COULD EASILY SEE 100 MPH.
Hmmmn almost new headers

Looks like the pump has all the goodies droop/diverter etc.

Here's the auction
Jetboat auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=26455&item=2446398652)
Not showing any kind of a reserve.
$7k first bid on a 4 day auction.
The only thing that looks hoakie is the trailer. Maybe the seats could use a little lift n tuck.

That is the first boat I have seen with a blower and predator carbs together. I like dem predators. Easiest rebuild I have ever done. They're simple and they work.

Yeah, ya don't see em much on the hotrod boats. I knew a guy that had a Howard v-drive and was trying to run a pair of em on a BBC tunnelram and he couldn't seem to get em dialed in for some reason..........Unless maybe his problems lay elsewhere. I don't know if he ever got em to work right.

Squirtcha?, what do you think are the makers of those headers?

They look like Bassetts to me. I did the changeover for a buddy of mine (logs to TT headers) he went with the Bassetts. They worked out fine and he gained 200-250 rpm with em.

I wouldn't buy it, but I am not a big tahiti lover. I would be afraid to be in a tahiti at 100 mph. I don't think it is running even close to that though. That is my opinion.
I like the part where he says it is too much for him and he has been in it 3 times but it will do a 100 if you boost the psi. Or how about the dyno PREDICTS 720 hp.

Hey Tommy!
How the heck ya been? Ya got any pictures of the new ride? Geez buddy, you change boats like I change my socks (once a year). Congrats on the new ride. Have ya had it out yet?
When Kachina did my seats they charged me $975. Turns out, that was pretty pricey. I've seen some guys here on ***boat that got a nicer job for less money (or maybe for the same money?). The guy that used to do interiors for Louie at Kachina died last year so I'm not sure who he's got building em now.
Keep in touch bud. We're gonna have to hook up this summer for sure.

I'm hip to that Bense. I don't think he realizes how hard it is to get these things over 100. I reckon that's one smart dyno too. Making predictions now. I wonder if you actually have to hookup to it or just have it near the thing.
All in all, I'll be curious as to how much he gets for the thing. It would be a pretty fair deal if someone got it for close to the opening bid. Then again, it is ebay....................the thing might not even run. Wisconsin's a long way off too.

I wonder if he turned them 90 degrees to the left(or the right?) as instructed for a boat. I guess they were designed for circle track or something. I don't know. I'm just a dumb OBer that notices funny things like that.

I can't remember. It's been 5 or 6 years since I saw the boat. You're pretty observant of the mudsuckers for an ob guy.

You have to know your enemies!!!!lol.
Actually, I have some skeletons in the closet.
I had a bubbledeck with a stroked Cobrajet motor.
Predators delivered the fuel and I found them to work very well.
Top speed was maybe 75. All that horsepower and only 75??

I would think so, saw it going across the lake, mid 70's maybe.

That's pretty sad then. Some guys are out there running around with a single carb and doing 80's.
Not me. The 80 is with the juice. Only running mid 70s without a helping hand from the bottle. Geez, I could keep up with a blower boat? That just don't seem right.

I have ran in the low 80's with a single 830cfm. But, high 70's are more consistent.
I saw that boat for sale without engine a few months back minus motor. Guess the guy doesn't like it? I don't think that I'd ever put a blown motor in a Tahiti....the hull would definitely take away alot of the capabilities of the engine.

Hey BBT - I would agree with you on the blower motor in a tahiti but how about a blown motor in an orange T-deck jet???
:D
