QUESTION.... Are these heads only for increased compression, or are there other advantages as well? just curious for I have a 300x with a warranty that is expiring this month, and gota SPANK sreamingpete bad this year:D

The heads will raise the compression, and look cool. I am working on some intake and ecu stuff now. These motors will scream.

I'm back. Just remember... the 300x will run strong all day long with no modifications. Mods cost you money, time and often reliability. I hate to see a beautiful boat being towed.
Glad to hear that you might jump ship and come to Daytona land. Check out San Diego Eliminator http://www.sd-eliminator.com or 619-596-2628. It's where my boat was born. SD Eliminator is where they do the rigging for all Eliminator outboards, even if you order direct from the plant at Mira Loma or the boat show. It's worth the drive to see the factory right off the 60 fwy. Take the 78 to the 15 to the 60 and you could be there in about an hour and a half. Eliminator's rigging is not as perfect as DCB's but pretty close.

See you in Havasu !!!
HEY MARK, Where have you been? Theres alot of IF's in the Daytona statement...."IF" the MACH sells...."IF" dave at DCB comes back down from the orbit he's reading the price Quote from, And the biggest IF...."IF" my wife gives me back my penis, And lets me get a new boat. The world is ruled by the "P.O.P"....yep, thats the "power of the pu--y"
So what have you been doing?

Everything takes longer than you originally planned and the time/months fly by. I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel and I'm returning back to normal... whatever that is.
Maybe you should consider a CMC jackplate on your beautiful boat. http://www.cook-mfg.com with lots of setback.

The hydraulic jack plate will lift the engine up and you will find the sweet spot at high speed... just keep a watchful eye on the water pressure. The increased setback, will get more of the boat out of the water (less hull in the water = more speed) without using as much trim. Using positive trim makes a nice rooster tail but you sacrafice speed in the process. This is all rigging modifications that can have a big effect on your overall performance without changing your engine reliability. I learned all this from Havasu Barney.
I know the P.O.P. well. My above suggestion is a lot cheaper than buying a new boat. Besides you have such a beautiful boat that is prectically brand new.
All the best to you,
HS
See You in Havasu !!!

H/S.....THANKS for all the sugjestions on the set up. BUT the only reason id get a new larger boat is more room. The slow MACH22 at 85-90 is fast enough for me (IF she is in the boat 40-50 is max:rolleyes: ) IF a new 25 or 26 footer EVER comes around it will probaly NEVER see these speeds ( I can afford the motor and out drive to do so!) ....Tobtek
