I may end up running this one on my tunnell ram.
Im going to check with my engine builder to see what else is on the market. I will keep you posted.

Chris, I say you run one of these on your motor. Get Todd to paint it to match your Daytona. A scoop like that on my boat would look funny, but on a 2 seater Daytona... it would look bitchin.

Randy,Looks like we are going to run the harwood. It comes in black gel coat, which will work until i get everything up and running. I dont really like the spitzers or the other scoops ive been looking at. The tricky part is making the scoop tray since my carbs are wedged.
The sled should be ready for spring, hopefully I bump into you and cyclone this summer out at blythe, See ya around. :D

Hey cs that harwood scoop is nice.I had one and ran it on my old boat.I want another but my carbs are like yours. When you figure out the base let me know. How many degree's are your carbs angled? That harwood does come black but mine had alot of flaws, one noticeable one is the big seem. You can see that in the pic

I believe mine are at 4 deg. (not 100 % sure about that) its just to compensate for the engine sitting at 4 degreees, that keeps the carbs happy that way.
A scoop tray can be made, but you will have to leave that up to a good fabricator I would think. The skill saw and a BFH probably wont get the job done .:D I will get you some pics of it when its done. That wont be any time soon though.

That trusty skill saw has helped fab alot of stuff. My carbs are at 5 degree's.I have a 5 degree low pro-intake.Shut me a pic when you do it.
