Hello every1,
I need some help finding the service manual for my 1998 Mercruiser Bravo-1. I have checked online at barnes and nobles and some other sites and none of them have it in stock yet. My local boat dealer explained to me how Seloc (a company that makes xlnt manuals) was bought out recently by another company and this could be a cause for the delay in releasing this book. They were supposed to be coming out with it in April, 2002. I need this manual so i can figure out how to service the boat myself and hopefully save some money. Actually the time bothers me more a lot more than the money. Everytime I have it serviced it takes them like 3 weeks to get it back to me. Any helpfull information would be greatly appreciated. I know someone out there has to have a manual. Otherwise how do the Mercruiser service centers repair or service the Bravo-1 if it ends up in the shop ?
Thanks http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif

Hey, I just saw that exact Seloc manual at Warren Marine (I think that is the name) in Costa Mesa on Newport Blvd. I bought the one for my Alpha 1. It's on the shelf, $34.95. Good Luck!

Super D - the name of that place is Warner Boat Sales, they are right on Newport Blvd in Costa Mesa. The number is (949) 631-2810.
TC - Talk to the guy (can't think of his name at the moment), he is very knowledgable.
