Has anyone ever tried one of these things? I wish I had a picture but its one of these things that you can change ball sizes.

i have a stainless set with the side pin. takes about 10 secs to switch. Remove them though...I had one stolen at the state parks and wildlife office...only there 5 minutes.

Is it the one with 3 diff. size balls that you can rotate?

Yes its the lower one. I have wanted one for a while now. Im so tired a Breaking my BALLS changing those balls around all the time. This should be much easier.

From my experience, if you need to change ball sizes, one trailer is bigger than the other and needs a different heigth as well. Just have a different draw bar with the proper ball, and that way you can also get the proper drop you need.

I agree with phebus. My big boat needs a 5" lift, the flattie has a 3" drop, and my wife's lil' jet boat has a 5" drop.
I just keep the hitches on a shelf by the door at our storage building, and plug in the one I need.
