I saw the test in the most recent issue of HB magazine. I haven't read the article yet, but at 68 mph with a 250XS motor, they must not have it set up correctly. I would think that boat with a proper set up should run between 75-80 mph. Probably a pretty good ski boat.

That boat looks great...it should run quicker than 68 though...also, if that is a cyclone bottom, it can probably handle some good water..

Ya I too saw the write up.
The one in your picture looks alot nicer. I really like those seats that you put in there. Where did you get those from and who did the interior?
They should have put this one in hot boat

I also just saw some more pictures of it in the image center.
Check them out. Looks like they were uploaded yesterday.

Hey thanks for posting those photos for me. I appreciate it.

The seats shells came from Queensland, Australia and the seat covers were done up by daves custom interior in Ontario, CA...
I too read the hot boat write up. Excellent photography. Unlike the others out there, looks like hallett didnt run a 2.5 efi.

Leave it to a good builder like Hallet to head back in the right direction. I would love to see one set up as a family skier/performance boat with a rear bench, jump seats, rear boarding steps, and grab handles. I for one don't need 10 cup holders, and I don't want to haul around 5 more feet of boat hull.
This to me is one beautiful rig.:D
P.S. In the article they made it clear that the test boat had a lot of set up work left to do and that Hallet expects a lot more than 68 mph from it.:D

eliminatedsprinter...totally agree with comments on the Hallet. Don't even think of selling your boat, as it has to be one of the best looking boats around. Just my $.02.:)
