It's a 5.8l 351 CI and is 60lbs lighter than the 5.4 that was in the 2000 cobra R 426 hp and 400 lb/ft of torque

V-10 huh...
They're cool, and I'm all about bigger=better, but they sound funny, even Vipers. Anybody else think so?

i have the V-10 Excursion, and put the Gibson Cat Back exhaust on, it sounds fine at idle, kind of rumble, but when you get on it, it just doesn't seem to sound right, i guess you get used to the sound of a V-8 and can't get that out of your head, like hearing a race Mazda, it just didn't seem right. And the fart can imports that are popping up everywhere.

By the looks of that pc, they better be running solid mounts. Valve cover totower clearance is uh,,,,tight.

Exactly, something about that V-8 sound. Don't even start with the queef pipes hanging off the back of Civics everywhere. Sounds like a bunch of buzzing bees, just not as powerful.:yuk:

No prob, just let the engine torque over and make its own clearance. :D
