Have a 02 CC Duramax and wanted to put a 10" Autobaun in behind the back seat. Don't think I have the room and am having a real hard time finding help on the subject. Can anything be trimmed to allow it to happen? Don't want to put it between the front seats and don't want the small 6" that could go under the rear seat. Suggestions happy boaters?

Go talk to Adam at Wired for Sound in Temecula. He did my system and he has done a bunch of them. I ended up with 4 10's behind the back seat. :D

I have two 12" PG's behind the seat of mine. It can be done.
I may be pulling out the enclosure if you are interested. I am thinking about going to four 12's.

Mine fit without moving the seat forward. Had to go with the roundy round 10"er's as the L5 and L7 were too deep in 10" and would have been horribly tight in an 8" even.

I'm putting two Resonant Engineering (http://www.respl.com) RX 12's behind the seat in my Std cab Dodge...if they can fit back there, you can get them in a CC Dmax. ;)

You have a lot more room behind your seat than I do mine. Not to mention, yours slides. :D

I think I actually passed "thump" and stepped right in to the "POUND" section. I think I did mention, the 4 10's were done leaving the rear seats in the stock mounting position, it was tight and some trimming of superfulous metal was required. I can email you a pic if you'd like to see it.

JP,
WHAT? CAN'T HEAR A THING!! Would love to see the shape. I assume your amps are under the seats. Being a single I was going to mount my amp next to sub. Duck

I installed JL's custom fit box in the center console. It's a single 10" W-3 but I'm more than impressed with the way it hits, especially when you put good power to it. I couldn't find a way to fit a decent box behind the back seat and I didn't want to install a box under the back seat cuz I still need the ability to fold the back seats down flat. You don't lose any storage space in the center console. Designed really nicely.

Anybody know who the band is that does the background tune on that websight? Wouldn't mind hearing more of it. --edit-- Nevermind, found it on the websight, "Strung Out" by MJ Cole.
Also, anyone know if MTX stuff is any good? They make a slick enclosure with two 10s that fits under the back seat of the Dodge quad cab. Just not sure how good the drivers are that it comes with since I'm not familiar with MTX.
thanks,
-Brian
