Monday Madness Outing - December 22

SoCal_Fun and I heading out for a day trip out, Probably Pyramid is what we are thinking.
Monday December 22, around 10ish:D Meet at the Sandbar around 11:D

I was at Pyrmaid yesterday and the water level was high. Full up I'd say.
Castaic is another story, must be 20 feet low right now.

I'll call ya tonight! We have to be off the lake by 4pm due to early closure. I guess they don't know that some of us still like to have fun in December. On Tuesday, there were 4 fishing boats and me! I had the run of the lake and took full advantage!! :cool:

My starter does not want to cooperate and come out:o DJ (lovemyultra) was here last night and no luck. Need to lift the engine a couple inches to get more room under it. Do that on Friday, but it will not be ready in time. :mad: :mad: Pulled my seat, still can not break it loose

Actuall I pulled the seat and can get to it, the bolt is to tight and I am afraid it may strip the head if I continue that way. Awkward trying to reach from the front of the engine back. Need a little more room by the stringer and I can reach in by the starter.

The best tool for the job is an Impact Wrench!!! Shoot the bolt with WD-40 or Liquid Wrench then hit it with the Impact!! It works everytime!!!!

And if you don’t have an impact wrench., Just get yourself down there.. Hold on to your open end.. Connect your nipples to a hot wire coming out of the wall.. Tell little Rich to turn the switch on and off really quick.. it works every time:D

I'll fill her in tomorrow night on the details!! WOW! Should have had my camera along for the ride, although it might have gone the same way as JBR's hat!
The speedo was pegged at 4800rpm and 100mph and we kept accelerating through something like 5400rpm (over 107mph+). JP can fill in my mistakes here but that is what I think I saw/heard!
What a ride. I'll never be satisfied again unless I get to the 100mph range.
What amazed me was the stability and smoothness of the ride at speed and the great cornering on that boat.

The Pyramid Posse was out in full force again today :eek: funny story here, HalletDave passed JBR and i in the opposite direction so we know he wasn't boating today.

All in all this was a great trip and Jackpunx's ride aint no joke :eek: especially when cornering about 60 mph like it's on rails, almost feels like my jet boat........haha :D

It was a awesome day at the lake, not to cold to enjoy the speed runs. Besides being a complete sausage fest, Jerry left his date at home, me and my son had a great time. The Jr. Posse members seem to be getting along great and will carry the Pyramid Posse for years to come. With Jerry's help on survival tips they can last out there for days living off the land.
Thanks again for the those who came out, the new members seem to fit right in. We will need to get the original three together before any of you can get initiated:(

What a great trip.. It was good to meet the new guys and to see the "OLD' ones again...lol.. The conditions were great.. We owned the lake.. .. Its nice to open up the boat in the right conditions with out any other traffic.. I’m glad you guys enjoy the speed runs as much as I do... Any time you want to go.. I’m always looking for an excuse...(But dont tell the wife’s how fast you went.. they wont let us play together)
