FOR SALE! $7,000 PM ME for the number.
Just put over $9,000 into the motor and powdercoating. About 2 hours on the new engine.
468 10.5:1, full roller, big valves, lots of headwork. Estimated 750 HP.
You will need to have the pump rebuilt. It works right now, but the engine is too powerful for the pump. I have a stainless steel impellor that needs to have about $200 bucks worth of work to it, then you can use that.
You will also need a tack for a Vertex Mag. I have AutoMeter gauges in it right now.
Great engine, Nice boat. I'm just not going to put any more money out on this thing!!!

PC,
How long have you owned this boat?
What color was it before it was repainted and do you have any picture of it prior to repaint (this is important)?
Was any bottom work done to the hull?
What is the production year of the boat (last 2 numbers of the hull ID)?
What kind of lay-up do you think the hull is?
What kind of pump and internals?
Jet-a-way?
Any work ever been done to the hull (repairs; setback, etc.)?
How fast have you GPS'sd this boat?

I've owned the boat since March.
I beleive the white base is gel with the graphics sprayed over it.
I donj't know of any work done to the bottom.
The layup was kind of light I think, but the previous owner had just had the entire floor, sides and transom strengthened or reglassed. The floor is Parquet and the stringers and everything else were new, I had to drill all the holes new for the plates and everything else.
The pump is a Berkeley slpit bowl etc. It has a peice of shit aluminum impellar that is ate up pretty bad. I do have a stainless steel impellar you can have though. It needs to have about 200 bucks worth of work done to it according to MPD.(turned down)
No jetaway and no repairs that I know of.
I haven't gps'd it, but seemed to be going about 75. Like I said, the motor was just spinning the shit out of this pump and was not very efficient! Pump will need new wear ring and put that stainless impellar in it.
Here is a pic of the CF's

Hey BP, That guy is a trip. He drives a gas tanker!!!! Now thats a scary deal. Hope to see you at Big River too. I think my family has the river covered now. My son bought Rob's Southwind, my son-in-law has a Placecraft tunnel and I have a 18 CP gullwing. Rob said you are working on a CP. What do you have cookin? If you know anyone looking for a CP tunnel less motor and pump let me know. It's a 325lb light layup on a competative trailer.
