No I don't but it looks interesting. I'd like to know where they come from and how well they work.

Check out the dual pedal override with the handle. Just the type of setup you need.

Art, I don't see any place to add water to that set up. How would you supply the water "lube" to the shaft log bushing??? Drilling into the shaftlog to put a pipe thread into that thin wall material is skeetchy at best...I know its done, but there has to be a better way. That set up is nice, but, again where's the water??... Ray

Art have you used these? Too, high speed being listed for boats over 12 knots doesn't instill alot of confidence for use on a 100+ mph boat for extended periods. Looking over their list of boat builder customers I don't see any on the list that build boats that go fast, mostly yachts, etc. that would have slow shaft speed by comparison. Just asking as I know nothing about them. At $225 I'd want to make damn sure it would work for a long time.
I would think at the shaft speeds we run (potentially 7-12k rpm) these parts would be well challenged to survive. I could be wrong.

Nope, never tried one mainly for the same reasons. I was tempted to try one but after reading about it and looking at how it's made, I can't see it handling high rpm's without burning it up. And at that price I'll let someone else try it first!LOL. Although it may be worth it if it works??...

I've been using one for several years. The seal is lubed/cooled by a 1/4 inch pipe barbed fitting for rubber hose. I broke one initially, but then figured out how to eliminate that problem. This seal works fine for my application. I own a 21' Rush Performance. The boat is powered by a blown 588 inch chev. with 48% overdrive. Propshaft speed is 8-9000 rpm. PM or call if you want to talk about it.

I'm running one with no problems so far.
There's a white fitting in taht pic that feeds the water to the shaft. They say DO NOT change this fitting to an AN fitting so I did anyway. Still works great. :D

That was a boat I took photo's of in Parker.
It belongs to Phil Bergeon in PHX. He is charging $225 for those.:D
