Does anyone have input on Formula boats? A friend made an offer on a 1995 Formula 271 SR-1 (Indy), it was accepted & we are going to take a sea trial in a week. HowÂ’s the quality, rigging, speed & performance to be expected?

Chech out www.offshoreonly.com (http://www.offshoreonly.com) The people on that board would tell you everthing there is to know. Good luck. Now if you are buying a Baja, different story. Mark

Just a preference thats all!! have done the Baja thing, there is no comparison. You should be extremly pleased in the handling and power pending on how much fuel is on you should be looking at a minimum 70 + in a 6000lb boat

Hi-- Long time, first time. You won't be disappointed with the Formula. I have a '95 232 (yeah, I know, the starter model). Fit and finish is superb. (Check out the wiring under the dash!) :D No problems to date. Factory very helpful.
