We'll be there on the first with no boat. I don't want to get wet.

I wil be there with no boat because it is too big for the festivities and it is too slow.

honesty....seems to be a rare thing amongst some others out there.
We won't be there, I don't want to hear the BS about jetters messing up the water when the primadonna's had no intention on gtting wet anyway.

We will be there also, most likely camping out depending on the weather. We will bring the boat and probably get wet when using it even though it is a slow je je je je jet:p

I will be there, with my old 68 hydroflite, sometime between 3 and 6 Am on the 1st.......Old blue boat, old green ford truck.. If you see me, please say hello, and tell me where to launch my boat. I've never been there, but looking forward to seeing some Hot boating, and meeting people from No Cal......Moneypitt / Ray

I went to the "Event" at Camp Far West.
The word for the day was: RAIN!!!!
About twenty or so boats showed up.
There were sustained winds of 20 (or so) MPH. "Gusts" of wind over 30 MPH..
The lake had WHITE CAPS a plenty.
The air temperature (not including "wind chill" must have been in the low 50s...)
I arrived there about 8:30 am (after a 2 1/2 hour drive) and after enjoying a few "adult beverages" and "bench racing" with some old and some new "friends" I packed-up and headed for home by 12 noon.
Other than the company, a terrifically MISERABLE day for boating.
By the way, the whole time I was there, not a single boat was brave (or dumb) enough to even touch the water!!!
