Go to the image center, log in and go to the pic you want. Right click on the picture, then select properties. Copy the URL.
Then go to where you want the picture and type""before the url and" " after the url. But don't use " ".
should look like this except for the * I put in there.

Explaining this confused the hell out of me. Hope you figure it out.

You have to upload a picture first.

really having trouble with this. NY resolution was to figure this out. I shot a photo with the wifes dig camera. Put the memory stick in the disk holder then into our A-drive. Under the 'attach file" section I hit browse and locate the photo. I've tried variations of the prior instructions by Fiat, but its not working. I need a step by step........

Hey dude, I had the best and the "Cooolest" teach me. I give all the credit to Sidewound here on the boards. This is taken from a PM he sent me.
OK Brutha here we go. If you have problems let me know.
First you need to open the forum you are posting in and open the online image center in a seperate window so you can go back and forth.
Start a post on the forums. When you get to where you want to post a pic amongst the text push enter on you keyboard to start a new line.
In the new line type including the brackets.
Then go to the window with your picture.
1 left click on the pic to bring it to full size.
2 Right click on the image A box will appear. go to the bottom entry and left click on properties
3 In this box are several entries one of which is URL or Address.
4 Right click on the url line. Another smaller box will appear.
5 Left click on select all.
6. Right click again and then Left click on copy. This saves the URL
7. Go back to the other window with your post. Put the cursor behind the [IMG] you have already typed in. Right click and then left click on PASTE that appears in the little box. Your almost there!
8. After the script that appears type in including the brackets.
VOILA! Preview your post to make sure ya got it before posting.
If you have any trouble let me know and I'll try to help.
Or ya could email em to me and I'll post em.
I know it sounds complicated but with a little practice you'll be posting up pics all the time.

Where is this "online image center" ..? is it a button on the screen I highlight, a separate location on the HB website..?

When you first go to ***boat.com and all the gauges pop up as links, there is a link to the image center. Click on that link, set up an account (screen name) there (separate from the forums), start uploading pics, and there you have it.

Okay, now I see it. I registered and tried several times to upload a photo and it won't upload. I'm assuming you have to upload a photo to the image center first before you can move it over to the forums. The photo is a jpg image so it should come up.

Tried it again...no luck. I keep getting a "this page cannot be displayed " pop up. It starts to load for about 30 seconds then it stops.

HELP! I put in my memory stick into the adapter. Then I went to the image center and attempted to upload a photo. i chose the v-drive category. Then hit the browse and upload buttons. It never completes the function, and falls to a fatal error window. Where am i going wrong?

Tried it again after trying to upload from pics my wife had on the hard drive already. Still won't do it. I get this "too much time" window that pops up. The computer has Windows 98...think that might be the problem?

Stoker Ace, you have to right click on the actual image. Click on properties. Copy the url address to your clipboard starting with the http://.
Your code format is good above (with the exception of the space at the end) except its not a valid image url location so you copied it from the wrong place. Also don't use the thumb version of the image. Use the full size one.
