pulled the boat out of the garage and down the hill I live at about 900 feet in the portland area. I got about 1/2 way down with no problems and then started to slide got the truck and boat stopped. asked myself what the f*%# I was doing!!!!! then I just put the truck into reverse and let the engine idle at 500 RPMs and the wieght of the boat just pushed me ahead about 1 MPH so on down the hill I went with out any other issues. I was really lucky (if you could have seen the faces of the cars going by me with my reverse lights on) priceless!!! well the boat is at the show and it is once again snowing they say we will get another 5 inches over the night I guess I will have to leave the blazer at home and hitch a ride.

Howdy JG, That Blazer brings back memories! I heard you were getting nailed with weather. I was to go down there this weekend but the forcast stopped our plans, didnt want to travel for 10 hours in a blizzard! I'm weak, what can I say. The boat looks way different than my last sighting in 1983. Thats when we bought its Rodeck. Congradulations on such a large project, wish you lived closer. Should come down for the Portland swap meet and would like to visit you then! Joike;)
