Can anyone give me the measurements for the trim angle and what the max would be ? I was told about 6 1/4 to 6 3/4 from cylinder body caps to pivit bolt center. Since mine is currently set a 8 1/2 and that seems to be where the boat runs fastest thoght I'd better check. Want to make sure this is not over angling the u-joints. I have a 85 Scarab I with a 502 MPI and 2000 Bravo I HP. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Although I don't have a Bravo, I probably wouldn't run it any farther than the steering angle allows (even in the driveway).
I was just curious on the transom angle- most have 12 or 16 degree. A 16 degree angle will need more linear trim to make the same angle (as it relates to the running surface) as a 12 degree.

I checked the angle - it's 18 degrees.
According to my trim guage, set at 0 all the way down, then take it to 3/4 the trim angle is 8 1/2. Thanks

Come on now I know someone knows the measurement or can someone with a bravo 1 measure the distance from trim cylinder end cap to pivot bolt in full trim only. THANKS idea
