I just started to watch NASCAR in late 2001 and was racking my cranium on which driver to follow. Instead, I picked a team: Roush Racing as it includes Greg Biffle from right here across the river in Vancouver, WA. I also follow other drivers like both Labontes and MacMurray.

Favorite driver has to be Robby, by default. After all, he's a long time friend and fellow Hot Boater.

He was in town over Christmas and I got him to come in and do the drawing for the Mustang we raffled off. (A guy from Ehrenberg won it.)

I've been to several races at Vegas and Phoenix, but probably won't be going again, unless it's in the pits. Too crowded and too many posers.
I'd rather just sit in the easy chair and watch from home. Can see the entire race that way.

I like Dale Jr. and Jeff Gordon. I was at the Luxor last night and picked up the sports book line for '04. Junior is the favorite to win Daytona, (2:1) and Junior, Gordon, and Johnson are tied for the championship (4:1). I was really surprised to see Matt Kenseth and Ryan Newman (8:1) rated lower than Kevin Harvick and Tony Stewart (6:1).
I can't wait for March 5! NHRA boys, you can rag on me all you want, but there's something about 43 cars screamin' by at 200 mph that gets me going!

31 Robby Gordon
Met him years ago when he was driving Venables class 8 truck. We were only driving a 1-1600 car, but Robby was super cool and willing to give his .02 worth.

Rusty is just that...........RUSTY. The guy used to have it, but he's been beaten up by his own teammates too many times now..
He's always been too damm polished in his interviews for my taste also.
Great corporate rep though if thats what you need (and I guess Penske does).

Didn't start watching Nascar until my wife started working for them a few years ago.
