Its about 65 degrees here right now ...In January......
Took some pictures of the doggies.....Note the..... not needs cutting grass in winter mode....lol

How does that Work?
In california we would call that Grass DEAD!
and in the Spring all we would have is WEEDS!
Do you replant every Year ?

In the South we call it dormant ...come spring It comes right back....and looks like this.....

Weather was like that here Fri and Sat. Turned cold again today.
Bermuda grass goes dormant in my yard also.
The fescue/rye stays green.
