Sure looked like fun!!, why did everyone keep their lanes? some of the turns were way outside the bouys. :)

Rick I am thinking that as long as you drive 50' to the outside you may have a problem putting yourself into the front position? :notam:

I know it was asked earlier in the thread.....but why arent they cutting the buoys closer, and why is there so much room between boats? The lanes look huge. Plus it looks as though Jim was at a disadvantage being in the outside like that, even if he kept his speed up in the turns, it looks as though he had much farther to travel.
