In the low 20's here with wind making it below zero. Supposed to get 6-10 inches of snow over night with freezing rain in the morning. Portland should be an ice rink tomorrow. I sure do miss So CA's weather now!!

Seen a show on the science channel that said that our weather is mainly effected by sunspots. From 1870 to 1890, the mini ice age, they disappeared. We are now starting to go into what’s called a dormant cycle. Top that off with higher then average perception and you could have a cold decade or worse. Check it out by doing a search on solar flares. You will not hear this on any liberal news network.

What Art Bell says about it is just a guess. Something is up thought. I guess we'll find out.

From what I understand vail is not the only place in Colorado to use cloud seeding. The former mayor of denver Wellington Webb actually raised spending for cloud seeding. It was all over the news last year but I havent heard anyhting more about it this year. I dont know if the new guy is pursuing the cloud seeding frenzy webb was on or not.
