This last summer i bought a 2000 HTM sr24. I went back east to pick up the boat and it ran strong topping out at about 74 at 4900 rpm. I brought the boat home to Utah and it w.ould not get any rpm. I have tried many props from 26 to 21 and with every one it will only get to about 4000 i changed the distributor cap it was slightly coroded and now i can get about 4300 rpm. I have had it to 3 shops in the SLC area but a bunch of bayliner mechanics all say nothing is wrong. ANY SUGESTIONS???
thanks:p

I have ran it from Havasu to about 5000 feet and nothing changes

Havasu in the summer = about 5000 ft density altitude. (I'll run some numbers on the whiz wheel when I get home)
5000' on a warm summer day can easily = 8000 - 9000 ft density altitude.
Unless you're running a blower or other forced induction, the warmer it get's, the less power you're going to make.
