Damn Pop-Up Ads!

I'm Running "Pop-Up Stopper" And " Pop-Up Swatter" and I STILL get these annoying pop-up ads! HELP! What can I do?:confused: Do I need to modify my register or something?

Your browser probably got hijacked while surfing porn. Run Spybot but download LSP fix (http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm) in case your winsock was hijacked too.
If you run Spybot and then can't connect to the internet, run LSP fix.

If you run Google's toolbar it includes a pop-up stopper that works like nobody's business.

Run both Spybot and Adaware to get you box clean.

Spy bot is good but does not stop 80% of the pop up ads, here is the solution to your problem, go to google and search for SECRET MAKER (free).
Disadvantages: you can not open multiple windows unless you hit the "control" button, or you can go onto options and add the different addresses to what is called a 'WHITE LIST' that will allow only certain pop-ups to come up.
Let me know how it works and what you think, I think you will be very pleases with the program.

Spybot isn't for stopping pop ups. It's for removing the program that is causing it.
If you are running pop up blockers and you are still getting pop ups, they aren't the regular pop ups. You've been hijacked.
